By accessing or using Qrius.io ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Qrius.io provides a QR code management platform that allows users to:

• Create and customize dynamic QR codes
• Track QR code scans and analytics
• Manage QR code destinations
• Access API for programmatic QR code management

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• We are not liable for losses from unauthorized use

3.3 Account Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• You may delete your account at any time from account settings
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use our Service to:

• Illegal Activity: Violate any laws or regulations
• Malicious Content: Create QR codes linking to malware, phishing sites, or scams
• Harassment: Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Spam: Send unsolicited commercial messages
• Impersonation: Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
• Intellectual Property: Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or patents
• Adult Content: Link to adult content without age verification
• Hate Speech: Promote violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Misinformation: Spread deliberate false information

4.2 Content Moderation

• We reserve the right to block QR codes that violate this policy
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension

5. Subscription Plans and Billing

5.1 Plans

• Free Plan: Limited features with usage limits
• Pro Plan: Enhanced features and higher limits
• Business Plan: Advanced features for teams

5.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
• Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with notice
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3 Cancellation

• Cancel anytime from billing settings
• Cancellation takes effect at end of billing period
• No refunds for partial periods

5.4 Plan Limits

• Free plan: 5 QR codes, 5,000 scans/month
• Pro plan: 50 QR codes, 50,000 scans/month
• Business plan: 250 QR codes, 250,000 scans/month
• Exceeding limits may result in service restrictions

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of your QR codes and data
• You grant us a license to host and display your content as needed to provide the Service
• You represent that you have rights to all content you upload

6.2 Our Platform

• The Qrius.io platform, design, and code are our property
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform
• Our trademarks and logos may not be used without permission

7. Service Availability

7.1 Uptime

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance

7.2 Data Backups

• We perform regular backups but are not responsible for data loss
• Export your data regularly as a precaution

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the past 12 months
• We are not liable for third-party content or services (e.g., Stripe)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Qrius.io harmless from claims arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of others

10. Data Protection and GDPR

• We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• All data is stored in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden)
• You have GDPR rights as described in our Privacy Policy
• We comply with GDPR and Swedish data protection laws

11. API Usage

11.1 API Keys

• Protect your API keys like passwords
• We are not responsible for unauthorized API use

11.2 Rate Limits

• API usage is subject to rate limits based on your plan
• Excessive use may result in temporary throttling

12. Modifications to Service

• We may modify or discontinue features with or without notice
• Significant changes will be communicated via email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

13. Modifications to Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time
• We will notify you of material changes via email
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms
• If you disagree, you must stop using the Service

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be resolved in Stockholm courts.

15. EU Consumer Rights

If you are an EU consumer:

• You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for subscriptions
• This does not apply if you have used the Service during this period

16. Dispute Resolution

16.2 Arbitration

Disputes may be submitted to arbitration in Stockholm, Sweden.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Qrius.io.
