What does an email QR code do?
When scanned, it opens the default email app on the user's phone with your email address, subject, and message already filled in. The user just taps Send.
Do I have to fill in subject and message?
No — only the email address is required. Subject and message are optional. You can pre-fill as much or as little as you want.
Where can I use an email QR code?

Will it work on all email apps?
It uses the standard mailto: protocol, which is supported by all major email apps including Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and others.
GDPR-compliant by design — not by policy
Your visitors' IP addresses are never stored. On each scan we run a geo-lookup, then immediately hash the IP with HMAC-SHA256 and a daily rotating salt. The original address is discarded. No cookies. No fingerprinting. All data stays on EU servers in Stockholm, Sweden.
