Frequently asked questions
Can logistics companies track package scan events with Qrius?
Qrius records that a QR code was scanned, with device type and anonymous count — but not who scanned it. For package tracking requiring recipient identification, you'd combine Qrius with your existing customer authentication system.
Is scan tracking of delivery drivers GDPR-compliant?
Tracking individual employee activities (including QR scans) constitutes workplace monitoring under GDPR Article 88. Qrius aggregate analytics avoid this entirely — you see scan counts and patterns, not individual driver scan events.
Can QR codes on packages link to customs documentation?
Yes. Dynamic QR codes can link to shipment-specific documentation pages. Update the content or link target as the shipment progresses without changing the QR label on the package.
Do you support high-volume QR generation for logistics operations?
Yes. Our API and Business plan support bulk QR creation. Integration with your WMS or TMS via REST API allows automated QR code generation for each shipment.
GDPR-compliant by design — not by policy
Your visitors' IP addresses are never stored. On each scan we run a geo-lookup, then immediately hash the IP with HMAC-SHA256 and a daily rotating salt. The original address is discarded. No cookies. No fingerprinting. All data stays on EU servers in Stockholm, Sweden.
